Eco-friendly

In a world where emissions are a growing issue, environmentally-friendly transport refrigeration units are becoming increasingly important. Mitsubishi’s TE30 unit is designed from the ground up to offer a low-emissions, eco-friendly solution for refrigerated transport. To achieve this, the TE30 units utilise;

  • An all-electric system to lower vehicle emissions (no compressor attached to the engine)

  • A start/stop function that allows you to turn the engine off while un-loading/delivery and still keep perishable goods cool from the battery backup which reduces excess fuel consumption & noise

  • Refrigerant R410A, which has a lower GWP rating than many others.





All-Electric System

Due to the TE30’s all-electric system, you can be confident that the units have minimal environmental impact and low-maintenance costs. The unit guarantees maximum operational efficiency through the use of electronically-controlled inverter and battery management technologies. The TE30 Transport Refrigeration unit features a:

  • Hermetically sealed system (no refrigerant hoses) with low number of moving parts for reduced maintenance cost

  • 24V alternator system for drive operation that decreases the engine’s burden and in return saves fuel and your bottom dollar

  • Backup 24V battery system that runs independently from the engine and emergency supply in case of a breakdown

  • High cooling capacity, up to 3000W (at AT30/RT0)

  • Low-emissions design

All Stage Cooling Operation

The unit is designed to work seamlessly with your vehicle under any driving conditions regardless if the engine is running or not. The patented, optimized battery management system allows the inverter to supply the necessary power to the compressor when required. The result is an ‘always-powered’ reefer unit that ensures your valuable cargo will always be kept cool.

  • Battery Powered Mode: Mitsubishi’s smart management system automatically switches power source operation between battery and alternator power mode when it senses the engine is off, reducing emissions from unnecessary fuel consumption.

  • Engine Powered Alternator Mode: The electronically-controlled management system automatically charges the batteries while the engine is running and powers the electric compressor. This mode allows for cooling of the cargo, charging the batteries and transport of the goods all at the same time.

  • Standby Powered Mode: Provides the ability to plug in to 230V power supply and charge the batteries whilst retaining temperature. Also, with the ‘Set & Forget’ programmable temperature functionality, you can schedule a time & required temperature for the unit to turn on and cool prior to loading time.




Ultra-Low Maintenance

The success of the Mitsubishi TE30 can be attributed to its excellent ROI. The system has been designed to be easily serviceable with fewer moving parts which in return means lower maintenance costs and reduced overall downtime, with;
